Family Rush Adventures

Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy is shown before checkout. An event may show only its current public area until Family Rush chooses to publish the exact venue. Registered families receive exact confirmed venue and arrival details automatically. Square processes card payments; Family Rush does not collect card numbers.

Effective: September 6, 2026

Registration confirmation

Submitting a waitlist request does not guarantee a place. For a public event, a completed registration payment reserves the selected date and wave after the required participant information and agreements are accepted. The venue shown for the selected event in the registration record and receipt controls. Organization-program, birthday, and add-on payments remain subject to the written scope and booking confirmation.

Optional 50/50 payment plan

For paid public-event registrations, customers may pay the full team price at checkout or choose the 50/50 plan. The first payment is 50% of the published team price and the remaining 50% must be paid by the deadline in the written confirmation. The 50/50 option applies to both advance and late public-event pricing and to every eligible public team type. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the stated deadline may cancel the reservation under the posted terms.

Optional $5 return-reward credit

A signed-in family may choose whether to apply available return-reward credit at checkout in $5 increments. Credit cannot exceed the current checkout subtotal, has no cash value, and is not paid out as cash. Selected credit is temporarily reserved while a checkout is open and becomes a permanent redemption only after the website records a completed purchase or registration.

If checkout creation fails, an unused tracked checkout is canceled before payment, or a 30-minute registration hold expires, the reserved credit is released back to the family account. When the full Square-paid portion of a completed purchase or registration is refunded, the reward credit used for that transaction is restored automatically. A partial refund does not automatically restore reward credit unless Family Rush confirms an adjustment in writing.

Published public-event location

Main public-event location: Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Each public event listing shows the location information Family Rush has chosen to publish. Registered families receive the exact confirmed venue and arrival instructions automatically through their confirmation and event communications. Family Rush will notify registered families if an emergency, venue closure, weather condition, or safety issue requires a change.

If Family Rush cannot confirm a suitable venue by seven calendar days before the event, Family Rush will cancel the affected event and submit a full refund of the amount paid to the original payment method. Any Family Rush reward credit used for that transaction will be restored. The customer is not required to accept a replacement venue, date, or credit instead of the full refund.

Other scope or business failure

If Family Rush cannot provide another paid organization program, birthday, add-on, or customized service, Family Rush may offer a reasonable replacement date, venue, service, or credit. If the customer does not accept the replacement, the eligible amount paid for the undelivered service will be submitted promptly for refund to the original payment method. Square and the customer's financial institution control final posting time.

Transfers and credits

A replacement family must provide complete information and all required signatures before participating.
Credits are not cash, may be used once, and expire on the date in the written credit confirmation.
A request to move to another available wave is permitted without charge when received at least 72 hours before the event.

Family Rush cancellation, postponement, and changes

If Family Rush cancels an event, including because the published venue becomes unavailable and no suitable replacement is provided, the customer receives a full refund of the amount paid and any reward credit used is restored. Family Rush may offer a replacement, but the customer may choose the refund instead. If a confirmed event is postponed because of weather, venue closure, safety conditions, or circumstances outside reasonable control, registration transfers to the new date. A customer unable to attend may request a full refund or 12-month event credit within seven calendar days after the new date is announced.

For safety, accessibility, staffing, or equipment reasons, Family Rush may delay a start, shorten a session, substitute a station, move indoors, or make reasonable modifications. A minor modification preserving the overall experience does not automatically require a refund. Removal for serious misconduct or refusal to follow safety instructions does not require a refund.
