Setup-Only Equipment Care & Damage Agreement
Required before Family Rush equipment is released for a setup-only booking.
Who is responsible
The booking adult or authorized organization representative who signs the agreement is the Responsible Party. The Responsible Party must be at least 18 and authorized to accept responsibility for the setup-only booking.
Approved use
- Equipment may be used only for the confirmed event, in the approved event area, and in the manner explained during handoff.
- Equipment may not be loaned, removed from the venue, materially altered, or used with unapproved equipment.
- The Responsible Party provides enough responsible adults/staff to supervise participants and the equipment throughout the event.
- Unsafe, lost, damaged, or malfunctioning equipment must be removed from participant use and reported to Family Rush. Do not attempt an unapproved repair.
Normal wear is not charged
The Responsible Party is not charged for ordinary wear from proper use, concealed defects, or damage caused by Family Rush before or during handoff.
Loss or damage
If Family Rush equipment is lost or damaged because of misuse, unauthorized use or movement, intentional damage, negligence, or failure to follow the handoff instructions, the Responsible Party agrees to reimburse Family Rush for the reasonable, documented repair cost or actual replacement cost of the affected item.
Family Rush will identify the affected equipment and provide the documented repair/replacement amount. A damage invoice is separate from the event package price and may be disputed in writing if the Responsible Party believes the charge is incorrect.
Handoff and return condition
Family Rush and the Responsible Party may document equipment quantity and condition at handoff and return. Photos may be used to document condition and resolve a loss/damage question.
Signature requirement
Website checkout acknowledgement does not replace the signed handoff agreement. The Responsible Party must sign the agreement and complete the handoff inventory before Family Rush releases equipment for a setup-only booking.
